Michael Vick signs 2 year deal worth $1.6millon with Eagles

Michael Vick (en), of the Atlanta Falcons (en)...

Okay I heard this yesterday and was a little freaked out.

Michael Vick just signed a two year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. Yes the city that booed Santa Claus now is home to this countries most famous dog murdered. I just am not sure how this is supposed to work. Donovan McNabb a quarterback that has been to multiple pro bowls and lead his team to consecutive championship games cannot even get a fair shake in Philly.

On the bright side of things this could be a perfect situation for a QB like Vick. Vick never was a very accurate passer and most of the time got by on his athletic ability. Maybe watching a more mature version of himself in McNabb he will see what he could be if he works out his issues and a veteran coach like Andy Reid who has already dealt with idiots like T.O. could go a long way to bringing Vick back to being a productive player.

I hope all goes well for Vick but I still have a problem with a league that seems to have no real problem with its players killing animals or humans.

What are your thoughts.....

Police Searching for Answers in Death of Ex-NFL Quarterback Steve McNair - Local News | News Articles | National News | US News

This is a very sad situation. McNair was active in the community and the circumstances of his death seam to be questionable. I hope this does not tarnish his legacy. I know he has been in trouble before but never seemed to be heading down this road.
